Does anyone remember what years the Cochrane was in what DESRON ?<img src=icon_smile_question.gif border=0 align=middle>

Cochrane went from Desron 25 to Desron 33 around "73" or "74" I got transfered in 1977 and she was still in 33.

I was on Cochrane from 1978 to 1981 and we were Desron 25 as a matter of fact I am looking through my 1979 Southpac Cruise Book and my 1980 Westpac Cruise Book and both say Desron 25. This is written in both books that Cochrane joined U.S. Pacific Fleet March of 1964 as flagship of commander destroyer division Two Five

I was on Cochrane from Nov. 83-Nov. 85, at that time we were DESRON 15 in Yokuska Japan, part of the Midway battlegroup.
