The best two years of my life were from 1975 to 1977 when I had the honor to command USS Cochrane.I had the finest crew , Chiefs Mess and officer wardroom ever assembled . Getting ready for our deployment had its problems,but our Westpac was significant as well as extremely  enjoyable.
