If you would like to contribute please see the FAQ for more information.<br />USS Cochrane DDG-21 was decommissioned 01 Oct 1990 and Stricken 20 Nov 92. She was towed from the Naval Inactive Ship Maintenance Facility (NISMF), Pearl Harbor, Hawaii to International Ship Breaking's facility in Brownsville, Texas. She arrived in Texas 26 Mar 01 and a few of us lucky shipmates had the honor of giving her a final send off on 31 Mar 01. It will take approximately 7 months before she is fully dismantled and sold for scrap. <br />The USS Cochrane was making the voyage from Pearl Harbor with the USS Stoddert DDG-22. I am sorry to report that the Stoddert did not make the journey successfully. She sank in a storm out in the Pacific Ocean. There is a ton of new functionality such as the ability to keep your own info up to date. There is a fully integrated forum and a new photo gallery. I will be adding new features and content as time permits. The forum is somewhat complete and I am just beginning on the gallery. <span style="color: #800000;">If you were a member of the old forums, your old login should work. PLEASE LOG IN and edit your profile with new information</span>.
